What Is Your Fee?
My fee is $200 for a 50-minute session. A sliding scale may be available based on your individual circumstances. I collect the fee at each session, and I accept cash, checks, PayPal, Venmo, Zelle, debit and credit cards, and HSA cards.
Do You Accept Insurance?
I am an in-network provider with Cigna, Blue Shield of California, and Optum. If you have a different PPO plan, it is possible that the costs for therapy may be reimbursed by your insurance provider. I will collect the full fee at the time of the session, and I have a biller who can bill your insurance company on your behalf.
I suggest you call your insurance company prior to your visit and inquire about your benefits for behavioral health for out-of-network providers. Be sure to ask about your deductible and the amount of reimbursement your plan provides.
The following are some helpful questions to ask your insurance company:
- Do I have mental health coverage?
- What percentage of my bill will be covered for services by an out of network provider?
- How many sessions will be covered per calendar year?
- What is my deductible and has it been met?
If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please notify me at least 24 hours in advance, otherwise you will be required to pay 50% of the cost of the session.
